Modernizing Undergraduate Mathematics Presentation Materials
Bring the Modernizing Undergraduate Math Conversation to Your Community
The Modernizing Undergraduate Math effort is not meant to stay in one room, one report, or one summit. To support that goal, TPSE Math is making this short presentation available for anyone who wants to introduce the work to colleagues, departments, partner organizations, conference audiences, or other professional networks.
The slides provide a concise overview of the Modernizing Undergraduate Math Summit, the case for change, the shared principles that emerged, several model project areas, and concrete ways people can help move the work forward.
These slides are meant to travel. You are welcome to download, use, adapt, shorten, expand, or customize the presentation for your own audience. Add local examples, remove slides that are not relevant, or combine these materials with your own departmental or institutional context.
Each slide includes presenter notes which may be helpful for understanding the original flow and talking points. To view them, open the deck and look for the notes section below each slide. In PowerPoint, click Notes at the bottom of the window or choose View > Notes Page. In Google Slides, choose View > Show speaker notes.
