How to Apply
Topic Focus: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
This year, applicant's project proposals should focus on addressing diversity, equity and inclusion issues in the mathematics and statistical sciences.
Application Requirements
Applications are due by April 15th, 2023 and will include:

The following application materials, which should be emailed to leadership@tpsemath.org:

A one-page statement of interest that addresses such topics as your previous leadership experience, your future leadership aspirations, your reasons for applying, how the TPSE Math Leadership Institute could impact your future, etc.

A one-page description of the project you propose to pursue while participating in the Leadership Institute

A letter of support from a department chair, dean or provost including what accommodations to your normal workload would be possible (e.g., a course release to participate in the program, supplemental funding for you to attend a conference or work on your leadership project, potential future leadership projects that you could be involved with, etc.)

Commitment to Equity
We are committed to ensuring participant diversity of ethnicity, gender, geographical location, and institution type. Preference will be given to early and mid-career individuals.
Schedule: 2023-2024 Academic Year

May 15, 2023: Initial acceptance offers sent

June 26 - 28, 2022: Two-day workshop (modality TBD)

June 2023: Fellows matched with mentors

July 2023: Fellows begin leadership project

August 2023 - May 2023: Bi-monthly virtual group

January 2024: Meeting and TPSE Math reception at JMM

May 2024: Concluding graduation event
