Creating Opportunities in Mathematics through Equity and INclusion (COME-IN)

TPSE formed a diverse working group of 16 leaders who adapted the core criteria from the AAAS STEMM Equity Achievement (SEA) Change to the needs and challenges of the mathematical and statistical sciences departments. TPSE is developing resources for assessing and improving diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in math/stat departments.  A set of guidelines will be available to help departments: 

  • Understand how their policies and practices relate to equity and inclusion

  • Identify their most important gaps

  • Develop tangible action plans to address those gaps

TPSE Leadership Institute

Fostering a diverse group of leaders within the mathematics community, prepared and well-positioned to take on future challenges at the local and national levels, from leadership positions at their institutions, in professional organizations, and within Federal agencies.
